Human Trafficking/Sex Trafficking/Labour Trafficking
Is the despicable, inhumane criminal activity of the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of people through force, fraud or deception with the purpose of exploiting them for profit. Victims (men, women, children of all ages and ethnicities) suffer physical or emotional abuse and often live and work in horrific conditions. They may also face fatal consequences if they attempt to escape. This crime represents a consistent and pervasive assault on the fundamental human rights of its victims.
Poverty Relief
Supporting the alleviation of poverty through community outreach initiatives that seek to transform the social and family patterns that perpetuate the vicious cycle of poverty through limiting opportunities and repressing the human spirit. Outreach includes feeding the hungry and the homeless, providing clothing, clean drinking water, medical assistance and school supplies.
